The British Trophy, organized by EduGate Group since 2025, is a four-day football tournament for international schools in Iraq. Teams of 7-9 players compete for a week-long trip to the UK.

Organized by EduGate Group, the British Trophy is a football tournament for international schools in Iraq, established in 2025.
Participants: Teams from IGCSE, American Diploma, International Baccalaureate, and Canadian International schools.
Team Composition: 7-9 players and a school supervisor.
Duration: Four days.
Prize: A week-long educational, entertainment, and cultural trip to the UK.

The British Trophy not only promotes physical activity but also showcases the benefits of studying in the UK. It offers students a unique opportunity to experience British culture and education firsthand, promoting UK universities as top destinations for higher education.
Participants gain exposure to the academic excellence and vibrant campus life of UK institutions, encouraging further education in this globally respected system.
Registration and Participation

Schools handle registration; direct applications from individual students are not accepted.
Registration is open from September to November.
Each school submits a list of students representing them.
A registration fee is required for each student.
Players must wear their school sports uniform.
Schools are responsible for transportation.
