DESCRIPTION

1. MATERIALS SUPPLIED, STORAGE AND STABILITY

Components:   Estrone-3-sulfate control 1/2: Two levels of Estrone- 3-sulfate in equine serum

Content:           One set of two vials each containing 1mL 

Preparation:    Lyophilized:     Reconstitute each vial with 1 ml distilled water 30 minutes before use

Storage:          2 - 8°C  After reconstitution store in aliquots at -20°C 

Shelf Life:       6 months after reconstitution or until the expiration date

2. APPLICATION

According to the respective package insert of the Demeditec Estrone-3-Sulfate Equine (DEV9933) the control can be used for internal quality control. The procedure calls for 20 μl sample volume per test.

3. TARGET VALUES

The values provided here are intended as guidelines only.

Control 1 - 107 ng/ml (Range 86-128)

Control 2 - 476 ng/ml (Range 368 - 583)

Because of many sources of inter-laboratory variations each laboratory should develop its own expected values.
